With heightened airport security measures in effect you have to assume that the odds are pretty good that your luggage is going to be opened and inspected. Unfortunately, with most luggage locks if the security agent cannot open your lock they simply cut it off your bag, leaving your bag unsecured for the rest of your trip.

Search Alert® re-settable combination locks are built with a security feature which allows TSA airport security agents, using a special coded pass key, to open the lock without causing any damage to the lock. All Search Alert® locks have a special logo from Travel Sentry® (the company that licenses the lock technology) that tells TSA agents that they can open the luggage lock without breaking it. And, your Search Alert lock has a special security indicator on the front of the lock that changes color from green to red to show you if your bag has, in fact, been opened for inspection.

Features of this Search Alert® travel lock include:

• Secure Access - you lock the bag and authorized baggage inspectors can open it without damaging the lock.

• Security Indicator - an indicator in a small window on the front of the lock turns from green to red if your lock is opened for a baggage inspection. You can reset this indicator before your next flight.

• Choose your own combination - you can easily set the three dial combination to any number from 0-0-0 to 9-9-9.

• Available in other colors - in addition to black, this lock is also available in green, pink, yellow.
